Where shall we have the session?

​

Our baby sessions are usually held in your home covering all Greater Melbourne suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula. If you're a little out of this area please get in touch as we can often make exception. Greater Melbourne Google Map

When baby gets to about 12 months, you could choose your favourite park or gardens... beaches could work too but just consider that your baby may be very into the sand, so might not be the best option for so young.

​​

HOME - Your home is such a great location for your baby session. With safe areas to lie, roll and crawl around and access to baby's favourite toys. Putting a couple of toys away for a few days before the session can work wonders for interns and genuine delight! We can also get lots of cuddles with the parents and siblings. This can also be more like a mini family session too if that works best for your family.

PLAYGROUND - With an array of colourful equipment to capture baby's attention, playgrounds can be great for 12 months onwards! A playground next to a gardens area can be perfect so we can capture some with play and some with nature adventures!

GARDENS - locations like botanical gardens and little lakes are great spots for a more manicured look often with pops of florals and diversity of foliage. There are usually some great benches to sit on,  and trees to stand in front of.​​

How long is a session & what is the price?

​

Standard sessions are up to 30 mins long. This results in 40+ images to select from, with packages starting at $340 for 20 digital images.  

We also offer a 40-50 min session;  with this you get in 60+ images to select from, with packages starting at $520 for 40 digital images of your choice.

This session is great for just mum, couples, or families with small children with little scope for being posed for hours!! ​Having worked as a natural light photographer for 15 years, I have honed my session to get the most from a 30 min timeslot. This is my most popular session.

•    50min Baby session - $520 for 40 Digital Images See Packages

​

If you want a wider array of poses, locations or changes of clothing, choose the longer session. This allows for a wider selection of images, and more moments & interactions, more details and more family shot configurations.​

What Areas Do You Cover?

​

We cover everywhere in Greater Melbourne, that includes the whole of the Mornington Peninsula, Sorrento, then up including Mount Martha, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Brighton, Mordialloc, St Kilda, Richmond,  Kew, Ringwood & Sassafras, Williamstown & Essendon.. Sessions start at $340 for the 'Digital 20' package. Select & purchase your package online when you receive your gallery, 1-3 days after your session.

How does it work?

​

Register for your session and I'll be in touch straight away to chat locations & book you in! I only do 2 weekends per month so get in as soon as you know you want a session... Especially as sometimes we need to rearrange due to weather.

My sessions are 7 days a week 10am-1pm.

Yes. Sessions are 7 days a week.

What does a typical session look like?

​

The session is 30 mins and very relaxed. My aim is to capture your time with your baby in a natural, relaxed way, that is true to you and your families personalities. We'll make the most of your chosen location, be that your home, playground or gardens. Anything that you want in the photos I love to incorporate.

When do I need to book Babies Session?

​

Please register as soon as you know you want a session. My customers often want the baby sessions on a weekend, and as I only do 2 weekends per month, it's best to book these in ASAP. 

​

​

What about sickness?

​

We are fully vaccinated against COVID 19 & Whooping cough. We will never visit if we are all unwell. On the very rare occasion that we are sick, I will either arrange for Leni to cover your session, or I will rearrange.

​

​When can I view the images?

​

Your gallery will be online 1-5 days after your session.

When you purchase a package with digital images, you will be sent a link to download your images immediately. 

​

How do you edit the images?

​

As a documentary photographer I use composition and very subtle editing to enhance the mood of your images to tell your story naturally. I don't 'improve' my subjects appearances, as I truly believe we're all perfect. But if baby scratched their cheek or something similar, and you know it would bug you to look at, let me know before I edit your images, and I can tone it down or remove it during editing. It's much more simple to do in the original edit than to come back to. If you get your gallery back and there's something that annoys you, like  cable on the wall or anything really, I can edit out lots of easy things, but if there's something more tricky, like an object needs to be removed that is directly behind a face, I may need to get this done by my editor. Jobs start at $25.

When will I receive my order?

​

Digital images are available for download immediately after purchase. You will be sent an email with a link to download your images onto your laptop or computer. 

Fine Art Prints are printed at our expert lab in QLD, on beautiful paper using archival inks to last over 100 years. These take 1-5 working days to get to you. 

Our beautiful layflat Photobooks are printed on Matt photographic paper, boasting outstanding image quality and vibrant colours, with a smooth matt finish. Photobooks take 4-6 weeks for delivery.

What is documentary photography?

​

Documentary is visual storytelling. The session is very relaxed and super friendly, which will help you feel comfortable, and works really well with young big-siblings! Resulting in images that reflect actual moments in time & memories. ​​

Are you vaccinated?

​

I am vaccinated against COVID-19 & up to date with my Whooping Cough and Influenza Vccines.
